I'M RACHEL.

I'm Rachel, a proud resident of sunny Ventura, California, where I am always enjoying the beauty of our weather with my Frenchie, Mae Mae. (Although you won't catch me sunbathing - gotta protect these tattoos!).

I am also the creative force behind The Bridal Stylist, a cutting-edge bridal academy that's redefining the art of pampering and serving brides. For me, being a bridal stylist goes beyond providing beauty services. It's about creating unforgettable experiences for brides.

MY STORY

Raised in a salon environment, I've always been captivated by hair - the myriad of colors, textures, and endless possibilities for styling. I began honing my skills at fifteen, doing event hair for dances and proms, which eventually led me to pampering brides on their special day.

At 17, I joined the Navy, where I served for 10 years and earned a Master’s degree, eventually becoming a Military Intelligence Strategist. While I loved my work, I knew it wasn't my true calling. After a few years as a military contractor, I made a pivot and pursued my passion for bridal styling full-time, giving birth to my own bridal company and salon, La Rouge.
